Job Title: Property Surveyor
Location: Dublin City Centre / Agile working
Contract: Full time/ Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Reporting to: Senior Property Surveyor / Property Services Manager

JOB SUMMARY
This role will focus on core building surveying and project management duties to Tuaths stock including property inspections, regulatory compliance, technical due diligence and health & safety matters to residential properties.
CORE DUTIES
Building Surveying
Defect Analysis inspections and reports.
Building Inspection and Snagging Reports.
Fire Safety Assessments and Risk Assessments.
Energy Improvement Programmes.
Project Management
Procurement and contract administration duties.
Overseeing repair, planned and cyclical works projects.
Technical support on adaptation requests.
General
Collaborate with internal teams on property, compliance and regulatory matters.
Liaising with OMCs, Local Authorities, Residents and other stake holders.
Provision of detailed professional reports.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications and Experience:
Level 7 Qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
Full clean Driving License and use of a car.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
A strong understanding of building pathology.
Experience in diagnosing and managing repairs to domestic buildings.
Familiar with the Technical Guidance Documents and building compliance.
A sound knowledge of contract management and working to procurement regulations.
Personal Attributes:
Proactive and Solution-Orientated.
Organised with an attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of skills on Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
A passion for delivering a customer-focused service.
