The AML / CO Executive will have responsibility to:
  • Implement Euronext policies and procedures relating to AML/CFT/FS in an efficient and robust manner for customers applying to list bonds, funds and equity on Euronext Dublin markets.
  • Review CDD documentation from a diverse range of clients with varying legal structures.
  • Review and approve internal AML customer checklists prepared by an AML Associate/Advisor to ensure compliance with the Criminal Justice Act 2010 (as amended) and Euronext internal policies on time and with complete accuracy.
  • Ensure Euronext is in compliance with EU Financial Sanctions at all times.
  • Deal with AML queries within specific timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate AML records and files.
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of AML/CFT legislation (including industry guidelines) and assist in the implementation of any new legislation.
  • Ad Hoc project work relating to AML/CFT/Financial Sanctions compliance and other AML operational elements.
  • Oversee and supervise the work of AML Associate/Advisor.
  • Continuing Obligations Responsibilities: Oversee issuer adherence to Euronext Rule books, ongoing monitoring of issuer market announcements; supervision of continuing obligation team tasks; deal with general continuing obligation queries from internal and external third parties; maintenance and updating continuing obligation procedures.
  • Deliver MIS reports to management on a timely basis.
  • Deliver a positive and differentiated experience to ENX customers at all times.
  • Liaise with internal (e.g. listing team, compliance team) and external (e.g. adviser firms representing companies, listing sponsors and agents) parties in relation to AML matters.
Working closely with the larger integrated Euronext Admissions team, the AML Executive will also be highly involved in the activities of the department, ensuring the Euronext primary markets strategy is fully supported, while the integrity of the markets is at all times upheld. Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Primary degree in business, finance or law required and/or a relevant compliance qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience working in an AML function within the financial services or legal industry.
  • Excellent understanding of the current regulatory requirements pertaining to AML and CFT compliance and EU Financial Sanctions.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out detailed analysis, make informed judgements and adopt a practical approach.
  • Experience using screening / risk assessment tools
  • Team oriented
Desirable / Advantageous knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Knowledge of debt products, investment funds and equity markets.
