Shift Pattern -08.00 - 16.30

Salary : €58,000 - €60,000

Job Description :

Based on the values, ambition and culture of our client the Work Place Manager (WPM) plays a key role supporting the KAM to ensure that all colleagues working on the site receive a 5-star experience. The successful candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, be able to effectively deliver timely communication, inspire and empower their teams and build excellent working relationships with all service providers and the client teams. They will also have sound knowledge of safe practices, solid financial experience and demonstrate a good understanding of client management. The WPM will play a key role as an interface between day-to-day operations, minor projects, technical compliance, health and safety, human resources and statutory compliance and make informed decisions as and when required and will take full ownership of service delivery (either through ISS or third parties).

Key Responsibilities

  • Embedding themselves into the site environment working alongside our service teams for the employees of the company
  • Recognising that people have different needs based on their role, demographics and culture.
  • Observing the workplace environment and culture to identify the experiential needs across all ISS operational touchpoints
  • Accelerating improvement in workplace energy and engagement by serving as a process catalyst through curative experiences
  • Advising on how to develop an environment for increased creativity, productivity and wellbeing
  • Connecting operational needs with service deliveries to implement the workplace strategy and design aiming to benefit all employees
  • Responsible for bringing together all awarded service lines in a ‘One Team Approach across the contract
  • To ensure that the basics are being delivered brilliantly in their respective buildings on a consistent basis. They are 100% accountable for service delivery standards in their building/s
  • Delivery of building inspection audits, QA and contractual client reporting using the available tools
  • Central contact for Projects ensuring safe practices are adhered to
  • Liaison between 3rd party contractors/sub-contractors and landlord
  • Communication/briefing to wider client team

Qualification Required

  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Good general level of education, preferably to higher education level.
  • Ideal professional qualifications & memberships (eg. MBIFM)

Experience Required

  • 5 years + managing teams
  • Strong customer and client focus
  • Supplier management - must have experience of managing suppliers in a similar type of environment
  • Change management
  • Knowledge of Statutory Compliance
  • Sound knowledge of life preservation systems
  • Proven track record of achievement
  • Able to work out of hours to support service delivery needs as necessary
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead and develop people
  • Ability to interface across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to negotiate and influence across Client and Supplier organisations
  • Computer literate - good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to lead motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to react quickly and decisively using own initiative when faced with a problem or issue
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Commercial and financial awareness (€1-2m+)
  • Experience managing multiple contractors ensuring no impact to daily operations

HSEQ:

  • Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
  • Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w/a)
  • Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations
  • Read, understand and work in accordance with the companys HSEQ Policies
  • Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions

Other features of the job:

It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours. As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
