Our manufacturing client is keen to welcome a highly experienced Cost Accountant to join their growing team. You will manage a team of high performance accountants, sitting as #2 and trusted specialist to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries related to manufacturing accounting in accordance with US GAAP
• Cost centre controlling & budget co-ordination responsibility
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure proper balance sheet valuation
• Margin variance analysis (PPV, Production and Absorption variances)
• Lead finance process improvement projects and business partner with departments
• Transfer pricing and VAT returns
• Liaise with internal and external audit, ad-hoc projects as required

Key Skills:

• Qualified professional ACCA/CIMA/ACA with minimum' 5 year's PQE
• Fast-paced Manufacturing background with management experience essential
• Knowledge of lean initiatives and ability to drive continuous improvement
• Advanced Excel skills, SAP and IFRS knowledge an advantage
• Experience with Power BI, Process Automation and Design Optimisation (intelligence reporting)
• Excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail and ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels/departments
