Join a vigorous and fast-growing company as a Key Account Manager, driving sales and managing brand relationships across grocery, wholesale, and foodservice channels. You'll develop customer strategies, ensure promotions and activations run smoothly, and work closely with the sales team to maximise in-store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales performance by delivering commercial plans, managing budgets, and supporting revenue and margin targets.
Develop and execute customer strategies, including pricing, promotions, term agreements, and annual business planning.
Act as the primary point of contact for key customers and brand partners, managing relationships and resolving queries efficiently.
Lead regular customer meetings to present strategies, secure listings, review planograms, and manage promotional activations.
Build strong, trust-based relationships across customers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate account documentation and provide timely updates to field sales on brand, customer, and promotional activity.
Forecast promotional volumes and support operations through listings, service-level monitoring, and inventory optimisation.
Support P&L management, including stock control, reporting, and liaison with finance as required.
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
Proven key account management experience within FMCG, Food & Home, or retail, across multiple channels including grocery, wholesale, and foodservice.
Strong commercial capability, with experience in sales, negotiation, forecasting, and P&L management.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders.
Solid understanding of category management, planograms, in-store activations, and competitor analysis, supported by strong data and reporting skills.
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, with flexibility to travel as required.
