Job Description
HR Administrator (Permanent Part-Time) Hours: 25 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.00am 1.00pm About the Role We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience while working closely with the Head of People & Organisational Development to support the continued development of a modern and evolving HR function. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day administration of HR operations, supporting the employee lifecycle, maintaining HR systems and records, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and helping to deliver an excellent employee experience across the organisation. Reports to: Head of People & Organisational Development Key Responsibilities HR Administration Provide day-to-day administrative support across the HR function. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems. Prepare HR documentation, letters, reports and correspondence. Reconcile HR data and carry out regular audits to ensure records remain accurate and up to date. Respond to routine HR queries and direct more complex matters to the appropriate person. Ensure HR documentation is maintained, securely filed and compliant with company procedures. Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle Coordinate recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and communicating with candidates. Prepare recruitment and onboarding documentation and coordinate the onboarding process for new employees. Support employee lifecycle administration, including probation reviews, contractual changes and leaver processes. Maintain recruitment, onboarding and employee records throughout the employee lifecycle. HR Operations & Continuous Improvement Administer the Timepoint HR system, ensuring employee information remains accurate and up to date. Coordinate HR meetings, appointments, training and other people-related activities. Prepare documentation, maintain action trackers and support the delivery of HR projects and initiatives. Support the ongoing administration of HR policies, procedures, templates and forms, ensuring approved documentation is maintained and up to date. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to the continuous development of the HR function. Learning & Development Coordinate training activities, inductions and learning programmes. Maintain training records and compliance trackers. Support the administration of manager and employee development initiatives. About You We're looking for someone who is: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Professional and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Proactive, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities. Comfortable using Microsoft Office Interested in developing a career in Human Resources. Enthusiastic, willing to learn and committed to delivering a high standard of work. Knowledge of Irish employment legislation would be advantageous but is not essential. Qualifications Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is desirable. CIPD qualification, or working towards CIPD, would be an advantage. What We Offer Permanent part-time position (Monday to Friday, 8.00am 1.00pm).
