ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: To work with the Shift Supervisors to start and stop machines and troubleshoot automated systems and day-to-day processing problems to maximize machine up time. Execution of other relevant automation technical tasks on-shift to maintain production at optimal performance. Carry out regular services on machines. Responsible for troubleshooting 24volt components Repairing pneumatic parts and troubleshooting Participate in continuous improvement or new product introduction projects. To maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping to ensure area, machines and equipment are maintained in a safe and clean conditions. Ensure compliance with Quality and GMP requirements and adherence to all MGS Mfg. Group policies and procedures. Improve existing automation technologies for manufacturing processes. Support in installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial control systems, such as PLCs, PACs, process control systems (CPCS) Supporting Automation Testing of industrial controls, including computerized systems that monitor and regulate operations or machinery such as robots or automated production lines. Analysing work orders to determine the steps required to complete the task. Performing routine inspections of machinery and equipment for defects or malfunctions Preparing work orders and creating reports on the status of projects Skilled moulding and/or automation technician 5+ years' experience within technical injection moulding Knowledge from medical production will be a benefit Use to working in controlled area Experience in working with ISO 9001 e.g. 13485 Knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems associated with high volume manufacturing Quality conscious with high professionalism Ability to think creatively, a natural problem solver Flexible, adaptable Strong collaborator with the ability to work within a team and across departments Previous experience in injection moulding of medical devices preferable Self driven with the ability to work under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills The above list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to carry out other duties which may reasonably be assigned by management. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Skilled moulding and/or automation technician 5+ years' experience within technical injection moulding Knowledge from medical production will be a benefit Use to working in controlled area Experience in working with ISO 9001 e.g. 13485 Knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems associated with high volume manufacturing THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Quality conscious with high professionalism Ability to think creatively, a natural problem solver Flexible, adaptable Strong collaborator with the ability to work within a team and across departments Previous experience in injection moulding of medical devices preferable Self driven with the ability to work under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills MGS Mfg.
