Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing ownership of a site‑wide Electrical Maintenance Program. Act as the site SME, ensuring long‑term sustainability, compliance with European standards and ETCI regulations, and effective management of all electrical assets within a CMMS (Maximo).

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as SME for HV, MV, and LV electrical systems.
  • Identify, structure, and maintain all site electrical assets and hierarchies.
  • Develop and maintain A‑CAD drawings and system documentation.
  • Implement and own preventative/predictive maintenance programs via CMMS.
  • Develop and maintain electrical SOPs and maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.
  • Lead electrical shutdowns, change control, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Support and lead electrical aspects of site projects and handovers.
  • Maintain arc flash studies, ATEX register, and safety systems.
  • Oversee lifecycle maintenance of critical systems (transformers, UPS, generators, protection systems, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement and upgrades of electrical infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For (Key Differentiators)
  • Proven client‑side/site‑based experience with ownership of electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in post‑project phase operations – maintaining, optimising, and sustaining systems after handover.
  • Strong background in developing and running long‑term maintenance programs, not just project delivery.
  • Clear evidence of operating at Subject Matter Expert (SME) level, with the ability to lead and make technical decisions independently.
  • Experience in building, implementing, and continuously improving CMMS‑based maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to take full lifecycle ownership of electrical systems (design input → implementation → maintenance → optimisation).
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering
  • OR
  • Electrical Trade Qualification + Degree in Management
Experience & Skills
  • 10+ years’ electrical experience (industrial/site‑based preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of European standards & ETCI regulations
  • CMMS experience (e.g. Maximo)
  • Proven experience in maintenance strategy development and execution
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and reliability of all electrical systems
  • Lead and sustain a best‑in‑class electrical maintenance program
  • Deliver projects and ongoing operations to required standards
