Overview: This company is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their successful team based at our Dublin location. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, first-rate customer communication/service skills and a can-do attitude. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with at least 3 years' experience in a similar position to join a growing team and company. Tasks and Responsibilities: - Carry out full equipment maintenance for customers in line with contractual requirements. - Respond to 'call outs' as organized from the Service Desk. - When required liaise with customers to ensure that orders are received. - To carry out, where possible repairs to customers' equipment in the in-house workshop/from home if appropriate. - To assist carrying out customer demonstrations when required to do so. - To install and commission equipment on customer premises when required. - To provide as required training to customers and other company' staff in equipment operation. - To ensure sufficient levels of spare parts are maintained to meet service department needs. - To ensure that the test equipment is in good order. - To monitor calibration dates of test equipment. - To ensure that all tool kits are in good order. - To ensure that all paperwork and systems are up to date. - To ensure that regular communication is maintained with department managers and colleagues for continuity and control - To keep up to date on technical developments and follow up training needs with manager. - Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time to fulfil the role of service engineer. - Adhere to hospital protocols and procedures when servicing equipment. - Ensure strong relationships with customers, clients and co-workers. Level of Education: - Educated to third level, with a Degree in engineering or equivalent or at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. - Valid Driver's Licence with a willingness to travel across Ireland.
