Permanent Whole Time Post UCC wishes to appoint an experienced clinical leader to head its Student Health Department. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a comprehensive primary care service that supports the health, wellbeing, and overall student experience of a diverse university community. Reporting to the Director of Student Experience, the successful candidate will provide strategic and clinical leadership, foster strong cross-university collaboration, and contribute to research and sector-level developments in student health and preventative medicine. The Student Health Department provides expert care across a wide range of clinical domains, including mental health, infectious disease management, sexual health, travel medicine, neurodiversity, and musculoskeletal medicine. Working within a large multidisciplinary team, the Head of Department will lead service delivery, drive innovation, and further develop the holistic, student-centred model of care. The role requires substantial experience in clinical practice, team leadership, healthcare governance, and the management of complex systems in a dynamic environment. Appointment may be made on the Senior Admin II Salary Scale: €145,800 - €184,250 (Scale B) / €138,454 - €177,928 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
