We're conducting a confidential search for an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing technical sales function.

This is a future role through business growth. We're encouraging early applicants and the employer's name will be shared during the initial conversation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand the sales pipeline (qualify, nurture, close).
• Lead consultative technical conversations; translate customer requirements into solutions.
• Own deal progression: proposals, negotiation, commercial terms, and driving contracts to signature.
• Collaborate with marketing to improve lead qualification and hand-offs.
• Maintain CRM rigor, provide reliable forecasts, and hit monthly/quarterly targets.
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities inside existing accounts.
• Feed market and customer insights back to the leadership team to influence decisions.

Must‑have experience & skills

• 5+ years in business development, sales engineering, or account executive roles within a technical sales environment
• Proven track record in B2B sales and experience closing multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Comfortable learning and explaining technical products to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong consultative selling, discovery, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRMs (Salesforce).
• Excellent written/verbal communication; confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Self-starter with strong organisation and follow-through.
