We're currently recruiting for an experienced QC Microbiology Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Athlone. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a GMP-regulated sterile manufacturing environment, supporting critical quality control activities that help ensure the safety and quality of life-changing medicines

About the Role

As a QC Microbiology Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting sterile manufacturing through environmental monitoring, water and microbial testing, laboratory investigations, validation activities, and sterility assurance. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Technical teams to maintain the highest standards of GMP compliance and product qualit

What We're Looking

• ForDegree in Microbiology or a related Life Sciences discip
• lineMinimum 5 years' experience in a cGMP Quality Control Microbiology labora
• toryAt least 2 years' experience within the pharmaceutical indu
• stryHands-on experience with microbiological testing in sterile manufacturing environm
• entsExperience performing environmental monitoring and utility tes
• tingStrong understanding of sterility assurance principles and current GMP regulat
• ionsExperience with method validation and quality risk manage
• mentExcellent attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving sk
