Milford Care Centre, Limerick Serving the people of the Mid-West Milford Care Centre is a Section 38 organisation, working in partnership with the HSE Mid-West, and provides a comprehensive range of Specialist Palliative Care Services and Services for Older People across Counties Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary. WE ARE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF Simulation Education Nurse Tutor - Palliative & End of Life Care Full time - 3 Year Fixed Term Contract Salary Scale Qualifications (Essential): Applicants should be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and registered in the nurse tutor division of Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Applicants should have experience teaching and at least five years post qualification experience in clinical practice with relevant experience in a specialist palliative care setting. Ideally the applicant will be educated to Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Nurse Education and a subject relevant to the post. It is desirable that the applicant has undertaken simulation facilitator training Experience Significant clinical experience in palliative and end-of-life care. Experience in delivering education, teaching or simulation-based training. Experience in prebriefing, debriefing and supporting reflective practice (desirable).
