SQL Database Engineer
We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Engineer to design, stage, and deliver a new Microsoft SQL Server environment, establishing clear standards and best-practice database architecture from the ground up. This role is central to migrating existing databases into the new environment while ensuring all current applications that depend on existing table structures continue to operate correctly or are updated as part of the migration.
In addition to core database responsibilities, the role will support application migrations where database changes require updates to application code. As such, programming knowledge—particularly in C#—is highly beneficial, enabling the successful candidate to understand, update, and support applications as they transition to the new database architecture.
You will work closely with application, infrastructure, and network teams to align the new SQL environment with an ongoing network segmentation project, while ensuring the databases remain stable, secure, well‑monitored, and easy to support in a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
