Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator - Office Based Location: Farnham Road, Cavan Ref: S11997 Salary: Depending on experience Benefits: Car Parking Company Pension Staff Discounts Description of Role: Our client is now seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join their busy team in Cavan. This role is 70% office based, 30% factory based. You will report to the Operational manager on a daily basis, and take full ownership of the entire processfrom placing Purchase Orders to tracking their status. You'll skillfully manage the expedited or de-expedited flow of products as needed, ensuring that material is consistently available to meet our operational demands. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the scheduling and organisation of material into the manufacturing plant. Liaise with Planning & Operations on Supply/Demand issues. Work with Sales team on new product/customer introduction. Inventory Management - understand and maintain the minimum necessary raw materials inventory and report on the status of inventory levels against inventory targets. Ensure agreed performance targets with suppliers are met, including on-time delivery and lead-time accuracy. Measure and report material shortages which are impacting the production plan and update on availability as required. Play a key role in assisting the Head of Purchasing in terms of purchasing for the site. Requirements Must have previous experience working in a purchasing, warehouse or stock room role.
