The purpose of this role is to oversee the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of weddings and banqueting events, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on managing weddings from start to finish, working closely with clients, internal departments, and suppliers to create memorable and well-executed events.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager, Operations Manager, Duty Managers, and Food and Beverage Manager to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
• Act as the main point of contact for brides, grooms, and wedding parties, building strong relationships and offering expert guidance throughout the planning and execution process.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of all event spaces, ensuring high standards are consistently met and spaces are returned to original condition post-event.
• Manage all aspects of staffing for weddings and banqueting events, including rotas, carrying out training, and supervising the team to deliver excellent service.
• Liaise with chefs, the Operations team, porters, and other departments to ensure logistical details are clearly communicated and executed.
• Maintain the wedding storeroom and supplies, ensuring stock is organised, accounted for, and replenished as needed.
• Communicate event plans and any last-minute updates to all relevant teams promptly and clearly.
• Identify and resolve operational issues effectively during events to ensure smooth delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Support continuous improvement by contributing feedback and ideas to improve service, efficiency, and guest experience.
• Maintain budget awareness and work within agreed cost parameters.

• You have strong leadership skills and are confident managing a team in a dynamic environment.
• You are highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are comfortable working with guests, suppliers, and internal departments.
• You can stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
• Experience managing budgets is an advantage.
• You are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
