Our client is a well established insurance broker with multiple locations based around Ireland. They are now on the lookout for a new member of staff to join their company on the commercial insurance team as a Commercial Insurance Broker on the existing business team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious insurance professional who wants to build a long-term career within the commercial insurance market . Key Responsibilities Manage and retain an existing portfolio of SME and commercial clients Handle annual renewals from start to finish, including remarketing where required Negotiate renewal terms with insurers to secure competitive cover and pricing Process mid-term adjustments, endorsements, and policy amendments Provide professional advice and tailored insurance solutions to clients Identify cross-selling and portfolio growth opportunities Maintain accurate records on CRM and policy administration systems Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurer partners Candidate Profile: APA Commercial qualified (minimum) CIP desirable A minimum of 12+ years experience in commercial insurance Experience managing renewals and existing client portfolios Strong negotiation and relationship management skills Organized, detail-oriented, and compliance aware Commercially minded with an ability to identify growth opportunities Ambitious and motivated to progress within the commercial insurance sector Whats on Offer: Salary up to €48,000 depending on experience Hybrid working model Clear career progression pathway into mid-market and more complex commercial risk Ongoing professional development and exam support Supportive and collaborative team environment This role is designed as a stepping stone into the broader commercial insurance market .
