Closing date of applications: 24/07/2026 Key Responsibilities The post holder will be responsible for the operational management and development of the chaplaincy service within St Vincent's University Hospital, ensuring provision of high quality services at all times. As appropriate to faith and culture, the post holder will ensure that the team will provide opportunities and resources for individual and corporate prayer and worship and will provide access to Sacramental ministry. The post holder will lead change programmes and undertake projects, or initiatives in securing the commitment of all staff to organisational change and continuous improvement. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for collaborating with the team/MDT to provide the highest standards of pastoral services to patients and their families from referral to discharge or bereavement. As the Chaplaincy Department operates a 24-hour service, full participation as scheduled on rosters will be a requirement of this role.
