Company description We are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to support a key Corporate Services account portfolio in Ireland. This is a strategic business partnering role where you will work closely with operational leaders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and commercial decision-making across a large contract environment. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting client reporting, and providing clear financial insight to operational teams and stakeholders. You will work closely with business Account Directors and Account Managers in all significant financial decision-making, ensuring awareness exists of current and future challenges. Job description Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Reporting Manage all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for assigned contracts. Deliver accurate monthly accounts, variance analysis, and financial commentary to senior stakeholders. Coordinate month-end close, invoicing, and reporting processes with internal teams. Business Partnering Act as a trusted finance business partner to Account Managers and operational leaders, supporting key business decisions. Build strong relationships with senior operations teams, providing insights into financial challenges and opportunities. Present financial performance at client and internal review meetings. Commercial & Financial Control Ensure financial controls, risk management, and compliance processes are in place across contracts. Ensure all Group finance policies, processes, and procedures are consistently followed. Identify and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support growth. Performance Improvement Review and analyse site performance, providing commentary prior to financial results declaration. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement through financial analysis. Support pricing, contract variations, and commercial decision-making. Context & Key Challenges Multi-contract environment: You will support a broad range of client accounts across the Irish market, each with varying commercial terms and client expectations. Stakeholder management: You must build effective relationships with both internal operational teams and external client stakeholders. Continuous improvement: You will be expected to identify and implement process improvements, not just report on numbers. Accountabilities Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and insight that supports operational decision-making and drives contract profitability. Build strong business partnering relationships with Account Directors, Account Managers, and operational teams. Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with Group policies across all contracts. Support the continued success and growth of Sodexo in Ireland through proactive financial leadership. Required profile Qualifications & Experience Educated to degree level or equivalent, with an accounting qualification (or part-qualified advanced stages) ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, ideally within a contract or service-based environment. Proven commercial exposure in a finance position within Ireland. Experience of financial modelling and a process-oriented mindset. Technical & Soft Skills Strong commercial awareness and business partnering experience. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact at any level of the organisation. Hands-on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
