Project Manager with extensive Procurement, Tendering and Security experience required for a demanding engagement leading the selection and procurement of a Managed Security Operations Centre (SOC). Based in Dublin this role will require an experienced candidate, capable of hitting the ground running and coming up to speed on a complex client environment in a short space of time. The role is to Project Manage the end-to-end procurement and selection of the SOC, including project planning, requirements gathering, governance, stakeholder management, vendor evaluation, RFP production and Vendor selection. The successful candidate will drive alignment across Cyber Security, Technology Operations, Procurement, and Legal teams, facilitating workshops and managing senior stakeholders to achieve consensus on requirements and operating model decisions, collating the decisions into a RFP and managing the tender and vendor selection process end to end. Candidates must demonstrate proven experience delivering security or SOC-related procurement projects / programmes, managing complex enterprise stakeholders, and leading procurement or RFP processes within IT or cyber security environments. Experience with managed service providers, governance, and risk management is essential. Exposure to Managed SOC, SIEM, MDR, or retail environments is advantageous. Key responsibilities include managing project plans, RAID logs, reporting, governance forums, vendor engagement, evaluation criteria, scoring frameworks, and recommendation processes. The PM will also support transition planning, identifying risks, dependencies, and operating model implications for the selected provider.
