Headcount Solutions are seeking to recruit an experienced Design Manager for one of our multinational clients in Kildare. Responsibilities Planning, Scheduling, Estimating & Budget Management Develop and manage project plans, schedules, estimates, and budgets. Monitor project progress and performance against agreed objectives. Identify issues and implement corrective actions where required. Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team. Lead scope development, ensuring client requirements are fully understood and incorporated, with particular emphasis on gas and chemical delivery and storage systems. Ensure all applicable licensing, permitting, regulatory, and legislative requirements are identified and integrated into the engineering design and construction process. Project Planning & Execution Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Execution Plan (PEP), Quality Plan, Project Initiation Checklist, and other project governance documentation. Manage the overall project scope, ensuring deliverables are achieved safely, on schedule, and within budget. Oversee change management processes for project scope, schedule, and budget. Team Leadership & Coordination Assign resources effectively to ensure the right people are aligned to the right tasks. Foster clear communication, provide regular performance feedback, and support team development. Lead the design team and ensure effective coordination across all engineering disciplines Stakeholder Management Maintain clear, timely, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Keep clients informed of project progress, technical developments, financial status, risks, and schedule performance.
