We are currently recruiting Staff Grade and Senior Speech & Language Therapists to join a supportive Adult Acute Services covering Kildare and Wicklow. This is an excellent opportunity to work with adults across community and residential settings, providing high-quality assessment and intervention for individuals with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will join a collaborative multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering person-centred care and achieving the best possible outcomes for service users. The Role As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will: Assess, diagnose, and manage adults presenting with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders. Develop and deliver evidence-based, person-centred intervention plans. Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Nursing staff, Medical teams, and other healthcare professionals. Support adults with a range of neurological, age-related, and complex medical conditions. Provide education and advice to families, carers, and healthcare staff. Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development initiatives. Senior applicants will also provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to junior colleagues and students. Requirements Staff Grade Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy. CORU registration. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Adult clinical placement or experience is desirable. Full driver's licence and access to a car is desirable. Senior Grade Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy. CORU registration. A minimum of three years' post-qualification clinical experience. Experience managing adult communication and dysphagia caseloads. Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff is desirable. Full driver's licence and access to a car is desirable.
