Financial Accountant, 15 month contract My client is a large group with offices globally. They are currently looking to recruit a qualified accountant for a 15 month contract based at their offices in South Dublin. Reports to: Financial Controller Preparation of year-end audit files, management & statutory accounts and group reporting to head office Preparation, review & analysis of flash & monthly management accounts to very strict reporting deadlines to parent company Preparation of monthly asset and liability reconciliations Production of weekly sales reports Actively assist with the annual external audit, taking ownership of agreed areas and delivery directly to auditors Compilation of the annual budget and supporting schedules. Looks for opportunities to improve processes that lead to reduced costs, reduced lead times and/or increased accuracy Assist and deliver in any other ad hoc requirements as they arise Requirements: Qualified Accountant with 2-4 years pqe Have excellent communication and people skills Superior judgement and ability to apply and develop our procedures and processes as required Proficiency in IT applications including at least MS Excel and ability to learn new systems. Knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage. Ability to multi task and build strong relationships across different departments within the organisation. Ability to prioritise a wide range of external and internal deadlines. A strong team player but be able to work on own initiative when required Ability to prioritise tasks as required for both yourself and the team Salary: c. €80k - €90k. Hybrid working available, 1 day onsite, 4 at home Skills: Financial Accountant Management Accountant
