Senior Engineer Large Residential Development | Co. Meath About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to oversee the construction of a large-scale residential development in County Meath. This is a key site-based role, responsible for the technical delivery of the project, coordination of engineering activities, and ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with programme and design requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, site management team, subcontractors, and design consultants to deliver a high-quality residential scheme. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day engineering operations on site Set out works and manage quality control for all structural and civil elements Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and method statements Review and manage technical drawings, RFIs, and design changes Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures Monitor progress against programme and assist with short-term planning Maintain accurate site records, reports, and as-built documentation Support and mentor junior engineers and site staff Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum 68 years experience in a Senior Engineer role, ideally on large residential or mixed-use developments Strong knowledge of setting out, groundworks, and structural elements Excellent understanding of Irish building regulations and H&S legislation Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Auto CAD and surveying equipment Full, clean driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary package, depending on experience Company vehicle or travel allowance Pension and benefits package Opportunity to work on a flagship residential development in Meath Long-term career progression within a growing construction company Skills: Residential
