We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our flagship site in Edgeworthstown, reporting to the Group HR Manager. This varied role offers exposure to all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, HR systems administration, employee engagement, wellbeing, compliance, and talent development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, inductions, contract administration, employee file management, and leaver processes. Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job requisitions, drafting and posting advertisements, CV screening, interview scheduling, conducting initial interviews, reference checks, medicals & onboarding. Maintain and administer HR Information Systems (SAP SuccessFactors), ensuring the accuracy of employee data. Act as the first point of contact for HR-related employee and manager queries, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and people matters. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, ethical standards, work permit requirements, and audit requirements, including SMETA, SAQ, and Ecovadis where applicable. Review, update, and audit HR policies and procedures to ensure ongoing legal compliance and best practice. Monitor, manage, and report on employee attendance, absenteeism, and long-term sickness cases, working closely with managers to support effective case management and process adherence. Administer HR correspondence and documentation, including employment confirmation letters, references, pay amendments, contracts, and personnel records. Manage HR administration processes, including HR inbox management, employee records maintenance, documentation filing, and data reporting. Liaise with and manage relationships with occupational health providers, supporting employee wellbeing and health-related case management. Lead and coordinate site wellbeing initiatives, workplace events, and wellbeing calendars aligned with organisational and group wellbeing strategies. Drive employee engagement activities and initiatives, including recognition programmes, cultural events, communication campaigns, and engagement action plans. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive workplace culture. Support the delivery of employee engagement surveys and action plans, including "Our Voice" initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Lead the creation and distribution of quarterly site newsletters and other employee communications. Produce and maintain HR reports and metrics, including Working Time Directive reporting and other people-related analytics. Coordinate long service awards, retirement recognition programmes, and employee celebration events. Build and maintain relationships with local schools, community groups, and external stakeholders to support talent attraction and community engagement initiatives. Support the HR team in delivering strategic HR projects and organisational people initiatives that contribute to an ambitious and engaging People Agenda. PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Not essential but will be advantageous: 1-2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced or FMCG environmen HR or Related Degree or CIPD qualification desirable but essential. IT Proficient and a "can-do" attitude. Responsive, proactive, solution-oriented and innovative with a passion for continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
