What the day will look like As a Paraplanner, you will support financial planners in delivering high-quality advice and service to clients, gaining exposure to client meetings, financial planning and wider Human Capital projects. Consultant support Assist in preparing and documenting client financial plans and annual reviews. Attend client meetings with planners, noting and following up on actions. Support new client onboarding and handle day-to-day client queries. Keep client files accurate, complete and compliant. Reporting Draft concise client reports and review summaries. Update systems, trackers and records to reflect client and pipeline activity. Produce agreed internal reports and suggest improvements to templates. Analysis Review client and planner information to identify key issues and gaps. Research suitable funds, products and relevant tax considerations. Use tools, including cashflow modelling, to assess client scenarios. Compare provider options and document suitable, compliant strategies. Other responsibilities Support team projects and operational process improvements. Help with Sales support, new business processing and pipeline tasks. Deliver work on time and to agreed quality standards. Work collaboratively across Human Capital and engage in ongoing learning. Skills and experience that will lead to success QFA qualification or progress towards it (or equivalent). Experience in a regulated financial services, wealth or benefits environment. Ability to interpret technical information and explain it clearly. Strong numerical skills and accuracy in written work. Effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Openness to learning new systems and approaches.
