Post 2205 - HRIS & Process Improvement Lead Dublin(NBC) Post 2205 HRIS & Process Improvement Lead, HR Department Full Time Temporary (2 Year FTC) National Blood Centre The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, temporary HRIS & Process Improvement Lead based in the HR Department, National Blood Centre. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a diverse public sector body responsible for collecting, processing, testing and distributing blood and blood products in Ireland. The IBTS relies completely on the generosity of voluntary, non-remunerated donors to provide sufficient donations to ensure a consistent supply of blood and blood components to patients. The HRIS & Process Improvement Lead will be responsible for the management of HR information systems, the implementation of process improvement initiatives, and the delivery of data-driven insights to strengthen HR operations and continuously improve the employee experience. This role supports the Irish Blood Transfusion Service in achieving operational excellence, compliance, and workforce efficiency across our organisation. As a member of the ONEHR Team and reporting to the HR Manager and supervising activities of the HR Operations Team while engaging with key stakeholders, the role holder will identify HRIS and HR Process gaps, utilise design thinking and LEAN Six Sigma principles to improve HR Operations service delivery. Recognising internal and external trends and driving development plans to take advantage of potential opportunities is key alongside proposing and implementing alternative scenarios for strategic plans relevant to running own departments work. The role holder will be responsible for monitoring activity and supporting the development of goals and objectives with guidance from the HRM and HRD, where appropriate. Essential Criteria: Education Bachelors degree in HR, Business, IT, Data Science, or related discipline. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma. Experience Minimum 5 years HR operations experience, preferably in healthcare or public sector. Proven HRIS management (people XD/Core HR) and HR data analytics expertise. Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, GDPR, and HR compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects in a regulated environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement. IT proficiency (HRIS, Excel, Power BI, BI tools). Ability to deliver results under pressure. Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Desirable Criteria: Experience in healthcare. Knowledge of healthcare HR operations and workforce planning. The salary scale attached to the post is the Clerical Officer Grade VI scale €57,325 to €70,034 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum.
