About the role RSM have a new and exciting opportunities for a qualified accountant or experienced part qualified accountant to join our team in a hybrid work from home environment with a noted base in our Portlaoise office. This role is in our Outsourcing Team (which operates within our Consulting Department) working within a growing area of the firm with domestic, FDI and Public Sector Clients. This position offers challenging, interesting, and rewarding work within a global network organisation. This role is a permanent full-time opportunity, but we are very open to considering flexible working arrangements. Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of compliance clients covering the following areas: o P r eparation and review of statutory financial statements. o P r eparation of monthly management accounts. o A ss i s ting with tax and general consulting issues for clients. o A ss i s ting with the general management of client portfolio and provide ad-hoc assistance as required. o A ss i s ting with the commercial management of the unit. About the ideal candidate The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Q ualified Accountant or experienced part qualified accountant with +3 years' experience, in a busy accounting environment. P r i or practice experience essential. E xc ellent technical/analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail. E xc ellent communication skills. Flexibility and team player skills. A bility to work on own initiative taking work to completion stage for partner/manger review.
